Soffit and Fascia Cleaning in Leicester

The fascia is the board running along the roof edge that the gutter is fixed to; the soffit is the panel underneath it, facing the ground. Both are usually white uPVC and slowly collect grime, green growth and streaks from overflowing gutters, which makes the whole house look tired.

Far less often than windows. For many homes, every year or two keeps the roofline looking fresh. Houses under trees or in damp, shaded spots may go green sooner. Having them done alongside a gutter clear is an easy way to keep on top of it.

Most surface grime and green growth washes off. Some older staining, or discolouration that has weathered into the plastic itself, may not lift fully. We'll tell you if that looks likely before we start rather than promise a result we can't deliver.

The right approach depends on the age and condition of the plastic. Old, brittle or already faded uPVC needs more care than newer boards. We look at the roofline first and adjust how we clean it; if anything looks loose or damaged, we'll point it out before we begin.
