Domestic Window Cleaning in Leicester

Safe'N'Clean's domestic window cleaning is for homes and residential properties across Leicester and the surrounding Leicestershire towns and villages — houses, bungalows and flats rather than business premises, which are covered by our commercial window cleaning service. Our team works from the ground using a water-fed pole system, so upstairs windows are reached without leaning ladders against your home.

Every property is different, so we confirm exactly what your clean will cover and what it will cost before any work starts.

Domestic window cleaning

Most of our window cleaning work is on family homes: terraces, semis, detached houses, bungalows and new builds. Purified water and a brush head lift dirt from the glass, and the water dries without leaving marks behind.

If your windows have been left for a while, the first clean usually takes longer than later visits. We will tell you if that is the case before we quote.

What your clean covers

We agree the scope with you when we quote rather than assuming it. Tell us whether you want glass only, or whether you would also like frames, sills, doors or a conservatory included, and we will price accordingly.

We do not clean the inside of windows as standard. If you would like interior glass included, ask when you enquire and we will confirm whether we can fit it in.

Access and quoting

To quote accurately we need to know the size of the property, how many windows there are, and whether we can reach the rear of the house. Locked side gates, steep banks, conservatories and extensions all affect how long a clean takes.

A few photos sent with your enquiry usually save a visit and get you a firmer price faster.

Regular or one-off cleaning

Ask us about a regular round when you get in touch. Availability depends on where you are and how busy that part of Leicester already is, so we will tell you honestly what we can offer rather than promising a slot we cannot keep.

Questions

Your window cleaning questions, answered

It depends on the property. The main factors are the number and size of windows, the number of storeys, whether we can reach the back of the house, and whether you want frames, sills or a conservatory included. A first clean after a long gap takes longer too. Send a few photos with a quote request and we'll give you a price.

There's no single right answer. Many households choose somewhere between monthly and every couple of months. Homes near busy roads, building work or lots of trees tend to get dirty faster. Tell us how clean you like them kept and we'll suggest a frequency, subject to availability in your area.

Traditional window cleaning uses a mop, soapy water and a squeegee, usually from ladders for upper floors. Pure-water cleaning uses water with the minerals filtered out, applied through a brush on an extendable pole, so the glass is cleaned from the ground. Safe'N'Clean use a water-fed pole system.

Because purified water has had its minerals removed, it dries clear on the glass rather than leaving spots, which is why windows can look wet when we leave. How long they stay clean afterwards depends on the weather and surroundings, so we can't promise a set number of streak-free days.

We agree that with you when we quote rather than assuming. Some people want glass only; others want frames, sills, doors or a conservatory included. Tell us what you'd like in your enquiry and we'll price it accordingly, so there are no surprises on the day.

Yes, in most cases. Our water-fed pole reaches upstairs windows from the ground, so we don't need to lean ladders against your home. Things like conservatories, extensions or steep banks can affect access, so it helps to mention them when you get in touch.

If you want the back windows cleaned, yes. You don't need to be in, but the gate needs to be unlocked or we need to know how to get through. Let us know about pets, bins or anything blocking the path when you book, and we'll plan around it.
